December 14, 2009: QuestFields Client 2.0.1 released (AJAX and Flash). Free updates for customers on a current Maintenance and Support agreement covering the respective AJAX or Flash technologies. Cross-technology upgrades available. Update 2.0.1 includes:

numerous minor AJAX QuestField bugfixes and enhancements;

improved handling of the Enter key and double-click on the list to submit a form;
-
enhanced metadata handling: the metadataHandler function now receives parameters for the current index, key, value, input value, and hovered state;
-
DHTML support for autoComplete options "right" and "word";
-
addition of the
QO.field.isSubmitting() function, enabling an onsubmit handler to check whether a submit was initiated by the QuestField;

Flash QuestFields no longer use the non XHTML-compliant
<embed> tag.

Flash QuestFields now detect an incompatible version of the Adobe Flash Player on the Mac platform;

updated QuestFields Client Administration Guide.

August 19, 2009: QuestFields Client 2.0.0 released as part of QuestFields Server 2.0.0 distribution. QuestFields Client 2.0 is available in AJAX and Flash versions. The Flash client upgrade is free for customers on our Maintenance and Support program -- the AJAX/DHTML version is licensed separately. New client features include:

full-page mode (Mobile QuestFields);

includes a wider range of skins;

more efficient and robust browser detection;

fully supports iPhone and iPod Touch;

August 10, 2009: A potential compatibility issue with Flash QuestFields on Mac OS X was detected in the new Flash Player 10.0.32.18 that was released by Adobe. We have verified that this issue did not occur on any earlier Flash Player version (10.0.22.87 or lower) and are investigating a solution. Update: This issue is fixed in Flash Player 10.0.42.34. QuestField version 2.0.1 and higher will display a warning message if a user has the faulty Flash Player version.

November 17, 2008: QuestFields Server 2.0 beta1 and client update 1.3 released. Increases server configurability, adds QuestFields Indexer option, content channels accessing multiple content sources, fully configurable query selectors, full compatibility with the upcoming 2.0 AJAX and mobile clients, improved compatibility with third-party frameworks, and new features such as a "placeholder" attribute. April 18, 2008: QuestFields client update 1.2.3 provides full compatibility with Flash Player 9,0,124 and preliminary support for Internet Explorer 8 beta 1. Registered users can download the free update.

April 10, 2008: MasterObjects posted a support bulletin about an issue in the new Flash Player 9,0,124 that affects QuestFields that are hosted on multi-domain websites. The issue will be fixed in a free QuestField update. Customers may also work around the issue without requiring an update.
