QuestFields Software Release 2.1.2

What's new:

• QuestFields Client 2.1.2 (July 26, 2010):
  
  • Added Safari/WebKit/Firefox box shadow to the result list contents;
  • Improved AJAX implementation and error handling;
  • Various improvements to the full-page mode (iPhone and iPad);
  • Fixed bug that caused error "The QuestFields Server received a request containing invalid formatting." if the page URL contained an ampersand;
  • Fixed rare issue where characters typed into the AJAX QuestField were lost;
  • Result messages are no longer incorrectly auto-completed when double-clicked.
• QuestFields Client 2.1.1 (June 8, 2010):
  
  • Automatic CSS classes for screen resolution and user language;
  • Addition of automatic formatter calls for result metadata;
  • Improved minification of client JavaScript and CSS files;
  • Minor bugfixes.
• QuestFields Server 2.1.2 (May 27, 2010):
  
  • Significantly reduced server startup time;
  • Updated server status window (addition of uptime, uses MO Framework full-page interface);
  • Improved configuration error handling and logging;
  • Updated third-party libraries (improved performance on multi-core systems, faster XML communication, security fixes);
  • Bugfix: Fixed issue in server status window that prevented Internet Explorer from propery displaying handled requests.
• QuestFields Indexer 2.1.2 (May 27, 2010):
  
  • Addition of messages that appear while the Indexer is starting up and if an index is invalid;
  • Bugfix: "Indexing..." message no longer remains in the server cache so it will disappear as soon as the index is ready.
