Shops At Work boosts sales with QuestFields
MAARSSEN, the Netherlands — July 8, 2008 — Since September, 2007, Shops At Work uses QuestFields technology from MasterObjects on various of its websites, including Shops.nl. During the past months, intensive research was conducted to measure the business impact of QuestFields. During the research period, no other functional changes were made to the site.
Based on measurements, the addition of QuestFields can be labeled a huge success. The research shows that the addition of QuestFields increased the customer conversion rate by 6.9% compared to the prior search functionality. The successful QuestFields software was supplied by MasterObjects, Inc. based in San Francisco (California).
Shops At Work custom developed most of the software used on its websites. The choice for QuestFields was made because of the advanced functionality that MasterObjects was able to deliver “out-of-the-box”. QuestFields technology allows the addition of intelligent search fields to any existing or new web page. QuestFields retrieve and display information from multiple backoffice databases. QuestFields can simply be configured to work with any database or search engine without requiring custom programming. QuestFields display results at blazing speed, even when accessed by many thousands of simultaneous users.
Shops At Work is very pleased with the QuestFields product. "Within a day we had the first QuestField running on our site," says Max Pinas of Shops At Work. "Our web stores already offered friendly, effective functionality that allowed customers to find products by browsing. Now, customers can also jump to specific products at blazing speed using the QuestFields. Our conversion rate increase of 6.9% proves the significant business value of QuestFields."
